Tyler
Tyler is a 21-year-old independent artist from the West Island. He’s been obsessed with perfecting his craft in all domains of music creation since he started learning the guitar. After years of admiring his older brother who played guitar very skillfully, Tyler finally decided at the age of 12 to dust off an old Yamaha guitar from the basement of his home to start learning all of his favorite songs. A few years later, 15-year-old Tyler begged his parents for an electric drum kit and started restlessly practicing that instrument too. Then at 17, he started writing his own music and learning music production and now has a decent collection of songs on Spotify. In 2022, Tyler took his skills to Berklee College of Music in Boston, the top music school in the world by some criteria and auditioned for their Songwriting and Production course. After being offered a scholarship based on his performance at the audition, he decided he was not ready to move to the U.S. yet and is studying in Montreal for now.
