Music lessons in Beaconsfield in a fun atmosphere

WIMA’s mission is to offer music classes in Beaconsfield in an exciting atmosphere, regardless of the level of the students, whether they are beginners or advanced. Our music classes offer an individualized approach that adapts to the rhythm of each student. We aim to help our students achieve their own goals in a relaxed atmosphere rather than to meet the expectations of others.

Our group music lessons in Beaconsfield

Music for toddlers

Music classes for toddlers are offered to develop their musical, psychomotor and expressive abilities. For babies between 9 and 18 months old, classes are offered with a parent in attendance. Between 2 and 5 years old, children are introduced to music. They can then begin musical training where they come into contact with the instrument.

Music Camps

For children between 8 and 18 years old, WIMA also offers music camps during the summer vacations and March break. Participants must have at least 6 months to 1 year of practice on a musical instrument. Campers have 2 practices of 2 hours per day as well as informative seminars focusing on different musical styles.

Rock Band Program

We also offer 2 rock band lessons for students who wish to join a music band. From 6 to 9 years-olds, junior groups are formed by integrating students of similar level with an experienced teacher. Rehearsals last 60 minutes per week. 

For those 10 years-old and older, groups are formed with advanced students who have taken at least 3 years of music lessons. They will be accompanied by professional musicians and composers to help them make their own songs.

Private Music Lessons in Beaconsfield

WIMA also offers private music lessons in Beaconsfield for students of all ages and levels. Our teachers adapt to the rhythm and level of each student. This individualized approach includes a wide selection of musical instruments. Some students may even be encouraged to compose their own songs. 

Our music school can also help prepare students for entrance exams to CEGEP and the Royal Conservatory of Music.
