Diana

Originally from Ukraine, Diana began her musical journey at 6 years old. Diana began with the Violin as her first instrument and later delved into learning the piano. Ever since, Diana has consistently immersed herself in practicing music in both their professional and creative pursuits. Over the course of their learning experience, Diana discerned the distinct approaches employed in teaching children and adults, drawing insights from their own personal encounters. While classical music formed the core of their early education, Diana broadened their musical horizons through self-directed learning, embracing contemporary tunes, and delving into improvisation, particularly through collaborative group activities.

Diana teaches in Pointe-Claire and Cote Saint-Luc.

Parand
Untitled-designSince childhood, Parand has been exposed to music considering her cousin was a professional classical pianist. She was bitten by the musical bug and started learning xylophone and flute at the age of 3, then violin at 7. Later, Parand moved on to learn the piano for several years. Gradually, Parand started classical singing lessons at the age of 18 and found her passion for singing. She believes that we all have rhythm from the heartbeat to the flow of breath, and formal musical training is only an expansion of what already exists in every person. All her singing lessons begin with physical warm-ups to support the specific musculature required in singing. Joy and playing are essential elements of successful learning at any age, and she makes certain that students learn without any undue stress and anxiety. Adult students can expect the same support and respect as the youngest child. She believes without joy, there is no music, and without music, there is no joy.

Parand teaches in Pointe-Claire.
