Support, Supplies and Proper Posture
We provide all the necessary learning tools to support your musical development, from quality sheet music to flute playing techniques that help develop good habits. Many of our lessons include breathing strategies, ear training, and sight-reading to build well-rounded musicianship.
Posture and hand positioning are emphasized from the first lesson to establish solid technique and avoid long-term strain. Our instructors pay close attention to finger placement, embouchure, and air stream control, key elements to improving intonation and musicality.
In our well-equipped studios, students also receive guidance on breath control and how to create their first sounds with confidence and ease.
Learn how to play according to your Musical Style
Do you prefer a musical style on which you would like to base your learning? Your passion for a specific style of music is at the heart of our teaching approach.
Our professional flute teachers strive to personalize the content of the lessons so that it reflects your musical tastes, whether you prefer classical, jazz, or contemporary music.
This personal approach not only ensures better motivation, but also enriches your musical repertoire.

Whether your interests lean toward classical music, improvisation, or exploring various global flute styles, your learning path will reflect your musical direction.
Our instructors also support students preparing for auditions, recitals, or formal music examinations, including those based on the Royal Conservatory curriculum, when appropriate.
Flute Lessons for Adults, Teens and Children
Recorder and transverse flute lessons provide an enriching experience for both adults and children within a supportive environment. Our passionate music teacher ensures that these music lessons are educational yet enjoyable, helping children develop a solid foundation in music while having fun. Specifically, the recorder is often recommended as an excellent first instrument for young learners due to its ease of handling and critical role in early musical education.
For students who already have a strong foundation in music theory, these lessons can pave the way for advanced studies, making each student’s personalized learning journey a fulfilling adventure.
We welcome students of all ages and provide engaging lessons that evolve with the student’s progression. Many families also explore music classes for kids to complement their child’s musical education.
From classical to contemporary: discover your musical journey
Every flutist embarks on a unique path, shaped by their goals, their inspirations, and the way they approach learning to play the flute. At our music school, we support this journey through private lessons that adapt to your current level, musical preferences, and long-term ambitions.
Build your embouchure, articulation and tone
From the very first lesson, students are guided in developing their embouchure, refining articulation, and shaping their tone with care and precision. These foundational techniques are essential to producing a clear and expressive sound, requiring thoughtful coordination of breath, posture, and a controlled stream of air.
Our instructors use targeted exercises such as tone development routines and, when appropriate, creative interpretation activities to help students strengthen their control and expressiveness.
Prepare for music exams with a certified flute teacher
Our experienced instructors can help students prepare for a variety of musical goals, including auditions, competitions, and Royal Conservatory of Music exams, when part of their individual learning plan. Lessons go beyond playing technique to include ear training, sight-reading, and repertoire development tailored to each student’s objectives.
With guidance from a qualified flute teacher, students build confidence and develop the skills they need to progress steadily.
We also support those who wish to enhance their performance abilities or present their pieces during internal concerts or recitals, nurturing both their love of music and their enjoyment of learning.
In-person or online lessons: flexibility for all students
Our flute lessons are available in both in-person and online formats, allowing students and families to choose the option that best suits their schedule and learning preferences. Online flute lessons are conducted live by our dedicated instructors, ensuring the same level of personalized guidance and musical quality as in our studios.
